We build on the foundation established in Good Dog 101 to refine polite leash walking, teach stay and self-regulation, and to apply this training to your daily lives and to create the skillset needed to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.

This class has 12 planned meetings (barring weather cancellations). Students purchase a six-class pass and choose which classes to attend during the 3 month enrollment period, based on their individual scheduling needs. Each class covers specific CGC test items as well as training for focus and self control.

Class Dates: December 7, 2024 -- March 1, 2024

Schedule: Saturdays @ noon

Location: Wikazri Canine Sports Field

Prerequisites: Dogs must have successfully completed Good Dog 101 (or equivalent training class/experience) and be able to share space safely with other dogs and people.

How it works:

• Students purchase a 6-class pass.

• Students sign up for the class dates they want to attend. There is a 6-dog attendance cap for any one class, so signing up early for class dates ensures students are able to attend on their preferred dates.

• Need more that 6 class meetings? Students who have purchased the 6-class pass have the option to attend additional class meetings, a la carte class.

• Purchase of a 6-class pass comes with one free CGC test. Tests are tentatively scheduled for February 9, and March 9, at noon.
